LCF: Local Campaign Forum – a borough wide group of delegates from Islington North and Islington South & Finsbury CLPs as well as from the council to discuss campaign issues for the borough

Short campaign: A period of time before election day during which all details of expenditure must be sent to the candidate for inclusion in their records.
Ward (sometimes also called a branch): the basic geographical building block of the Labour Party. Islington North has eight Wards - Finsbury Park, Highbury East, Highbury West, Hillrise, Junction, Mildmay, St Georges or Tollington
